Nam-mic believes in: Economic growth and development, Equity, Capacity building, Authenticity and Empowerment
NAM-MIC Team Synergies
The future role and profitability of NAM-MIC and its attractiveness to a wide and diverse range of strategic partners will depend, to a large extent, on how it is perceived to be securing advantage in this challenge.
We are convinced that NAM-MIC has tremendous commercial scope. If this potential is unlocked purposefully and responsibly, NAM-MIC has the capacity to grow into a Namibian industrial development corporation, creating wealth and employment for our country.
'We are committed to do whatever it takes to build NAM-MIC to become a force to reckon with'.
Equity Partnership: Nam-mic and Primedia
Until recently Primedia Outdoors (Namibia) was owned 100% by Primedia Outdoors (RSA). Mineworkers Investment Company (MIC), is a significant shareholder (32%) in Primedia Outdoor (RSA). Mineworkers Investment Company (MIC) is NAM-MIC sister company, in that it is a commercial or investment arm of the National Union of Mineworkers of South Africa.
NAM-MIC has acquired 25.1% in Primedia Outdoor (Namibia), and will cement the strategy of the company to penetrate the outdoor advertising industry in Namibia. We therefore invite the Namibian businesses, government and government institutions, parastatals, and non profit organisations (including trade unions) to become recipients of the wonderful outdoor advertising services from Primedia Outdoor (Namibia).
