Mr.
Joshua Kaitungwa is the CEO of Nam-mic Holdings (Pty) Ltd,
the position he was appointed to on 1st March 2007 after one
year and five months stint as General Manager: Investments
of the company. He holds a B Com (law) degree from the University
of Western Cape and certificates from UNAM and the education
college.
While working in the mining industry at Namdeb Diamond
Corporation, he served in the Mineworkers Union of Namibia
(MUN) leadership structure ranging from being a work place
union representative and participated in the leadership
at the branch and regional structures of the union. He served
on various committees at the national level of the MUN.
His proven leadership quality, determination, and aspiration
culminated in him serving in various portfolios of the political
structure of the ruling party, Swapo in the Oranjemund and
RoshPinah district.
His participation in the union structures, long employment
history with Namdeb Diamond Corporation and political engagements
has enabled him to have successful interventions with various
government structures and institutions, trade union organizations
both local and international and exposed him to the corporate
world. Consequently, he accumulated a wealth of exposure,
experience, skills and knowledge of the political and economic
environment.
Joshua serves on various Board of Directors, which involvement
is limited to Nam-mic Group of Companies.
